Welcome to DressYourMind Eyewear

Welcome to DressYourMind Eyewear, an independent Berlin-based eyewear brand creating brand-new sunglasses inspired by vintage eyewear designs from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Our retro sunglasses collection draws inspiration from Italian and European eyewear design, combining distinctive vintage-inspired shapes with contemporary materials and modern manufacturing.

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through DressYourMind.com and provide important information about orders, prices, payment, shipping, delivery, returns, refunds and your statutory consumer rights.

1. Orders and Prices

All prices displayed on DressYourMind.com are stated in euros (€) and include the applicable statutory VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices shown on the respective product pages provide the information available to you before placing an order.

We make every effort to ensure that product information and prices are accurate. In the event of an obvious error in a product description, price or availability, we reserve the right to correct the error. If an obvious error affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

2. Payment Methods

DressYourMind Eyewear offers several secure payment methods at checkout, including:

  • PayPal — no additional payment fees

  • Visa — no additional payment fees

  • Mastercard — no additional payment fees

  • American Express — no additional payment fees

  • Online bank transfer via Klarna — processed via Stripe

  • iDEAL — processed via Stripe

Available payment methods may vary depending on your country and the options displayed during checkout.

3. Shipping and Delivery

DressYourMind Eyewear ships sunglasses to destinations within the European Union and selected international destinations.

Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment has been received and verified.

Depending on the destination, orders are shipped with DHL International, DPD or another reliable shipping partner. Tracking information is provided where available.

Free Standard Shipping

Free standard shipping is available on orders over €39.

For orders below €39, the applicable shipping cost will be shown during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Additional shipping charges may apply to certain destinations, including some EU islands and selected destinations outside the European Union. Any applicable charges will be clearly displayed or communicated before the order is completed.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • European Union: approximately 2–3 business days after dispatch

  • Outside the European Union: approximately 2 additional business days, depending on the destination

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to weekends, public holidays, customs procedures, local regulations, carrier delays or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customs and Import Charges

For shipments outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees and other charges imposed by the destination country may apply.

Unless otherwise stated, these charges are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the purchase price or applicable shipping charges.

4. Returns and Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer purchasing online within the European Union, you generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable law.

For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. No reason is required to exercise the statutory right of withdrawal.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform DressYourMind Eyewear of your decision to withdraw within the applicable withdrawal period.

After communicating your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your decision. The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before the 14-day period expires.

5. Condition of Returned Sunglasses

You may handle and inspect the sunglasses only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.

You may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them, in accordance with applicable law.

We recommend returning sunglasses with their original packaging and accessories whenever reasonably possible.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, the consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods after exercising the statutory right of withdrawal, provided that the consumer was informed of this obligation before entering into the contract.

7. Refunds

In the event of a valid withdrawal, DressYourMind Eyewear will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offer.

Additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be reimbursed.

The refund will normally be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless another method has been expressly agreed and does not result in additional costs for you.

We will process the reimbursement without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

No refund fee will be charged.

8. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your sunglasses arrive damaged, defective or different from the product you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@dressyourmind.com.

Please include your order number and, where appropriate, clear photographs of the sunglasses and their packaging.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any mandatory statutory consumer rights, including your legal rights in relation to defective or non-conforming goods. EU consumer law provides statutory protection for faulty goods, including a minimum legal guarantee period.

9. Legal Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where a specific legal exception applies under German law.

This may include, for example, certain goods manufactured according to the consumer's individual specifications or clearly personalised goods.
